ABOUT US.
DREAM IN NEON.
I’m Mahin Hussain — a print designer and visual artist born in the riotous and colourful Pakistan - now creating patterns in the buzzy heart of London.
My work starts in memory: the juxtaposition of colours and textures at Sunday bazaars, the backdrop to life of truck and rickshaw art, the smell of earthy monsoon rain in the air, the remnants of art deco found in window grills and the loud vivaciousness of a childhood filled with family. These vignettes turn into bold, hand-painted prints that celebrate how I think we should remember life — loudly, joyfully, and in full neon.
Everything I make is a little love note to where I’m from punctuated by elements of where I am now.
A mash-up of art and object: vibrant risograph prints, cards that pop, coasters that feel like party favours, fashion accessories with flair — all designed to bring a splash of nostalgia and bold colour into your everyday life. I paint everything by hand then turn it into limited-edition drops full of texture, play, and stories.
I believe in the kind of art that doesn’t whisper. That dances, shouts, and glows a little too bright.
For anyone who ever thought: why fit in when you could pop?
DRAWN BY HAND
Every pattern starts the old-school way — with a pencil, a brush, and a whole lot of feeling. I draw each design by hand, letting memory and mood guide the shapes. Once the sketches come to life, I paint them in my signature riot of colour — bold, joyful, a little chaotic (in the best way). These hand-painted originals are then turned into prints that pop: risographs, art prints, textiles, and more — all full of texture, story, and soul.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN.
In an earlier life, I was a prolific handbag designer. After earning a Diploma in Fashion Accessories from London, I returned home to launch my eponymous brand — a bold celebration of colour, pattern, and purpose. Each collection fused contemporary form with handcrafted detail, using rich, locally sourced leather and unapologetically loud prints. I released four collections a year, each one a love letter to craftsmanship and cultural storytelling. The fashion world took note, and I was honoured with the Lux Style Award for Emerging Designer. Over time, that same passion for bold design began spilling beyond the edges of the bag — into art, prints, paper, and everything in between. What started as fashion evolved into a full-spectrum creative practice — still rooted in the same love for colour, culture, and chaos.
