My Story
Bright hand-painted patterns reflecting honesty and a personal narrative with a distinctly wild Pakistani aesthetic.
I absolutely love patterns. For me, they tell a real story. I use my patterns to express myself & memories of my childhood that are forever a part of me.
I am a colour enthusiast. Colour has visual appeal but also has a great impact on lifting your mood & studies show improving mental health. I hand draw and paint my patterns before turning them into Risograph Prints, cards & more.
These days I have been experimenting with the textures of gouache. For me it’s very important for the print to have a tactile feel. Textures I find add a great new dimension.
